What’s Your Tree Village Network

What’s Your Tree is on a mission to build and strengthen all communities where we live, work and play.  After all, when people are living meaningful lives, care about each other and are committed to social change, their community should be thriving!

The Village Network is one of the ways we are looking to build thriving communities. It is an innovative vehicle for deepening the relationships and sharing resources among members of the WYT community.  It was started in Fairfax, CA by Matthew Edwards, a What’s Your Tree participant.

The Village Network provides an “on the ground” infrastructure for people within a community to share what they love to give and to receive what they need.  It is a system for people to share services, skills and passions while creating value within their community.

We are piloting our partnership with the Village Network in the Bay Area in early 2010 and hope to roll it out to other WYT communities later in the year.
